Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser are heading down the aisle!
The Cobra Kai costars confirmed their engagement on Feb. 13, 2024 after initially teasing their betrothal by showing off a pair of diamond rings on their left hands at a series finale event for their hit Netflix show on Feb. 12.
"We’re so happy to finally share that we’re engaged. This is such a special moment in our lives, the closing of one chapter and celebrating the continuation of another. We’re so grateful for the love and support, and though we’re partial to having our private moments, we’re excited to share this check-in to our world 🖤" Buchanan and Mouser posted in a joint Instagram.
The couple first took their romance public at the Netflix series finale event, as the pair shared a kiss on the red carpet and posed with their arms around each other. They also ignited engagement speculation after posing for a snap showing off their rings for the night.
Both actors were dressed to the nines for the evening, with the He's All That actor in a classic suit over a lighter-colored shirt and Mouser in a shimmering minidress. His dark gray tie color appeared to match the actress' dress perfectly.
While speaking with PEOPLE at Wednesday's event, Buchanan said that Mouser is "a hundred percent" a ride-or-die confidant for him among the Cobra Kai cast.

"But to be honest, literally everybody," he continued. "There's not one person that we don't hang out with and have fun with, and we truly keep saying that we're going to be around in each other's lives forever. I don't know how to explain it."
"It's just really crazy, weird, cool family connection that we've built over the past seven and a half years, and none of us are ever not going to be in each other's lives," he added.
Buchanan plays plays Robby Keene, while Mouser plays Sam LaRusso in Cobra Kai — which debuted on YouTube in 2018 before making its way onto Netflix in 2020. While the pair have spent several years on screen together, the show's creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg announced that season 6 of Cobra Kai would be the show's last.
The Designated Survivor actor also opened up about the cast's final days on set in an interview with PEOPLE, noting that they were "always tear-filled." He said he also ended up "very ugly crying" by the end of the day.
"I’d woken up about three hours before I was supposed to be on set and laid in bed and was staring at the ceiling, and as soon as I got up to get ready, I just started crying and then had to pull it together," he recalled. "I was like, 'Nope, nope. Got to hold it together until the end of the day.' "
