Since the introduction of the Sunday trading ban, Poles have had to plan their weekend visits to shops precisely. The situation will not change significantly in 2025, although debates are still ongoing, and the act signed by the president may increase the number of shopping Sundays. Is January 12 a shopping Sunday? When are shopping Sundays in 2025?- In the coming year, Sunday shopping, as in previous years, will only be possible on selected days. It is important to plan your visits to stores in advance. For now, there are seven shopping Sundays in 2025, but from February 1, the list will be extended to include an eighth shopping Sunday in exchange for a free Christmas Eve.
- For all those who at the end of 2024 got used to shopping also on Sundays and were planning to visit the store at the beginning of January 2025, the answer is clear - January 12 is not a shopping Sunday
As a result, large retail chains such as Biedronka, Lidl, Auchan and Carrefour will remain closed. However, it is worth remembering that some stores will be open, such as Żabka (run by the owner), petrol stations, pharmacies and bakeries .
